- I'm an independent consultant for Arbonne Intl (ID#115143318) - the best botanical skin care products on the planet. I'm also very honored to be the Area Coordinator for the Heart Link Network gatherings in Vancouver BC, and look forward to meeting and connecting with other vibrant business women in the area. Welcome in advance! :-)
I was born and raised in the UK and am blessed to be able to call beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia my home. Depending on whom you speak to, the city is bracing for the onslaught, or getting ready to embrace the myriad of visitors that will come with the 2010 Olympics. I favor the latter view. I share my home with two fabulous felines who insist on licking my feet, which I take as a compliment.
As the acknowledged "skin care aficionado" in my family, I am delighted to have found Arbonne and look forward to introducing other women to these fabulous botanical, vegan and beauty without cruelty certified products - products that pose no harm to my feline companions as they sit in adoration at my feet:-)
For women, or men for that matter, interested in making a little or a lot of extra income, and starting out with a fun part time business, I'd love to talk to them to see if this organization would be a good fit. As well as a great range of amazing products for children, women and men, Arbonne is about great people. Verging on it's 30th anniversary, the company has grown from strength to strength.
I'm also a amateur writer of shorts stories and screenplays - nothing published or sold YET - and a budding e-marketer currently sourcing drop ship products for marketing online. And because I'm as passionate about communicating with the spoken word as much as the written word, I'm an avid member of Toastmaster Intl. . I've been an active member for approx 3 years in total. At the spring 2009 District 21 conference, held in Whistler BC, I placed 3rd in the district evaluation contest. It was my first contest so I was happy to place. At the Fall 2009 District 21 conference, I placed 2nd in the District Humorous speech contest. One more conference for the top spot! :-)
While Toastmasters Intl. is rightfully renowned for helping millions of people become accomplished public speakers, the side benefits of increased confidence and leadership skills are of equal merit. I strongly advise anyone seeking more confidence and improved communication skills to find and join a club for at least one year. The secret to success, as in all things is to commit, show up week after week and PARTICIPATE!!
I look forward to meeting and befriending some of you in person at my Vancouver HLN gatherings and simply befriending many via the online community. This is a fabulous community and forum for sharing strengths, strategies and stories of our successes.
