Hello, I am new to the group. I enjoy sharing ways to show Christ to others through our random acts of kindness. I like to surprise my girlfriends by asking to baby sit their kiddos so that they can go on a date with their husband or run errands without shlepping the cildren to and fro. I also love to share a smile with anyone; eye contact and a smile are a great way to make a connection and let someone know that they matter, even though we don't know one another, after all we are all His creation.

I need to share something my husband and I do. We have what we call *mystery trips*. We plan a weekend for the other person and may give them a few clues... but is a mystery as to where we are going and what we might be doing. It is so much fun and really keeps our marriage interesting and alive. We even pack for each other.
Well, I just had a birthday and my husband had a load of compost delivered - I thought as my birthday present. I was delighted! However, when I got up Saturday morning he wisked me off for a couple of days ... ending in him having purchased a Toyota RAV4 for me!
He is awesome and touches my heart ... I just had to share... and believe me, I was happy with just the compost!
