Hello everyone!
I am doing some research for my new book and would love to hear about what your biggest struggles are with weight management/weight maintenance/weight loss.
What do you feel are the barriers to your success? What have you found to be helpful? Tell me your stories!

For me it was getting off soda's as they just make you crave junk food or make you want to snack or eat more than you normally would if you were drinking water. If you can do that you are sitting pretty good if you are a snacker any way. I tend to only have an occassional soda now and that is when I am out of my daily routine and away from home.
I lost over 100 pounds. It took me almost 3 years. Over the holidays of 2009 I gained 22 pounds. Since January, I have tried to get rid of the 22 pounds and I am having a hard time. I don't know if it is because I am going through menopause or what, but maintenance is much harder than losing it. I still eat an average of 1300 calories a day and exercise. I burn an average of 200 to 300 calories a day 5 days a week. I am 5 feet 5 inches tall. My current weight is 186. My goal weight is 165. Why can't I get back to 165 and hold it?
