Launching A Non-Profit/Own Business

Hi Everyone, we are in the beginning (grassroots -I love that word) stages of trying to turn our Empowerment Group for girls into a non-profit 501 3 (c) status. Any of you lovely ladies have advice/resources/information about how to make this dream a reality? There are so many grants out there for organizations that want to work with women and girs and just feel that we have an opportunity to really make a difference. Any advice would be helpful!

Maybe you could reach out to Keri Byer - she is a member of Heartlink and a local ambassador in Leander TX, she runs a wonderful program called Fairy Godmother, she should be listed on my friends list and one of the top 10 Heartlink ladies on this site.
